Just wanted to post some pics of the work Benchmark motors did on the CS. Non descript and out of the way.........just the way I like it. Very nice install. Does it play the sounds of other Stradales so you can feel you are moving through the lead pack on the last lap of a Challenge event?
I had no idea you switched from silver to red. Beautiful car and I hope to see it this weekend! P.S. I see an E55 in the garage, enjoying it too?
Nice work Kz. Does it rattle/skip at all given the reduced insulation in the CS compared to the std. 360?
Congrats on the baby! I'm sure it'll have the right muscles fully developped from the hard acceleration forces the E55 can generate!
Nice work Kuzi..Looks clean. I need some work in the area on my 360. Stock, all front speakers. Not listening to too much music though. Still envloped with the sound of that test pipe & tubi : ) See you Friday Mike
Good job, the guy who did the work was a real creative craftsman. They blended the new panels in to the existing car very well. The aluminum drilled cover was a nice touch. NICE!!!!!!!
Kuzi. Wow looks great! Just a few questions....Did your car originally come w/ a system? Did they do anything in the rear?...speakers? rear shelf modification? I am getting ready to finalize my purchase of a CS in silver (argento) w/ stripe, red brakes, black alcantara w/ grey stitching, NO Stereo. Since I enjoy music, i will have to have something installed.
Thanks James. My CS did not come with the factory radio.........thank god...........I had an argento CS prior to this one that had the factory HiFI in it (HIFi shouldn't even be used to describe it).........and it sucked for lack of a better word. Nothing was done to the rear shelf..........I didn't want any cutting back there. It doesn't seem to matter in such a confined space anyways cause the music just envelopes you. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Nice work. Benchmark has done some very nice work since opening. Glad to have someone back who can be trusted with the ultra-high end audio/ video installs.
kuzi. yeah, it's funny F calls it the "HIFI" option, yet i've heard it sounds like crap. the casing for your radio is very seamless, hopefully the guys doing my install will be able to replicate it. rear shelf: does this include the subwoofer enclosure that's between the seats? do you have any pics of the rear shelf? if so, my email is [email protected] your help is much appreciated.
Hey James, Where are you getting your audio work done? (or planning to?) I too am in the Bay Area and I'm trying to look for good quality sound system shops.
James, I have no subwoofer in the "rear shelf" area...........in fact theres nothing back there. The 6" subs are integrated into the underneath of the dash...........very seamless and out of the way. I tried taking photos of it.........but I couldn't get my head, hands, and camera up under there. I'm getting old
Looks good. Benchmark does amazing work, we love having another highend retailer around. We get to see alot of very, very well thought out work and great craftsmanship out of their shop. Between them and us, I think we are starting to turn around the custom, highend audio/visual business in this area. Bryan C. Zielinski Ben's Car Audio www.benscaraudio.com
