Has anyone ever had a problem with their CS hoold latch not engaging completely? This weekend I took the car for a 500 mile RT ride to Upstate NY - and when I went to load up my luggage this morning - the latch would not fully engage. I unpacked the trunk thinking that I had possibly overpacked - but the problem persisted. I then removed the front trunk carpet out to examine the latch - and nothing seemed obviously wrong. I poked around and tried to see if anything was binding, but nothing seemed out-of-wack. I reinstalled the carpet panel - and the latch then fully engaged...(whew)

I was genuinely concerned that I was 225 miles from a Ferrari Dealer and that I wouldn't be able to drive the car home... Needless to say it was a pretty uncomfortable feeling.

    Thoughts?

There may be grease on some of the lock mech parts, some times with dust things start to stick causing it not to latch/un lactch completely. If it happens again, while hood is up, check the manual pull cable, also hit the remote switch again and see if works after that.
