Yeah, I once busted your chops with regard to how you acquired your CS "site unseen." There are at least two that I know of in GA. You stated that you went to see one of them before you purchased the one you currently own. I asked you about that particular CS and you replied, "If you cant say anything nice...."
Yeah. OK. I remember. Well, I'm glad you think my CS is nicer than the other one here in Georgia. And why do yo credit the previous owner with this amazing feat? I've had the car over a year and had it serviced with the dealer twice ;-) I've also had it detailed regularly and added a stripe. It's in better condition than ever right now.
Mine just turned 28k and other than maintenance and a rattling window, no repairs. I did have cam seals replaced and water pump rebuilt at its last full service almost 2 years ago. For the purpose of full disclosure I've only owned since 14k miles.

This is the rant of someone who obviously needs a life, or has some manufactured self guilt going on. If you honestly gave a rat's behind about what your lifestyle may or may not effect someone affected by the economy, you would trade your own Ferrari's for a Hundai, down size your house, get rid of your designer jeans, start clipping coupons and eat at Wendy's for a night on the town. Wow, guys...seriously, have you all resorted to self-inflicted personal attacks on one another. We are all car enthusiasts in our own way. I don't respect anyone who purposefully takes things that they have in life for granted and takes no shame in making it seem like everyone else is 2nd class beneath their notice. That's not the mark of a true human being, that's just an egoistic bastard who thinks that they're getting ahead in life. In reality, that just means that they're shallow and totally oblivious to everything else that goes on around them. I consider Mark to be a friend and he has gone to great lengths to be there whenever I need him. I'm not the perfect person either but I'm not someone who thinks he's better than all. The previous owner brought it up to snuff and you're just maintaining the quality and adding a few miles in the process... there's nothing wrong with that of course. Lol! I carry no guilt in life. There are millions of people suffering right now because of what has happened to our economy. I just don't find it necessary to drive around in $100k,$200k or $300k car daily and flaunt it. I am very clear that I love cars and no I wouldn't trade away my exotics for any reason other than a desire for another. So I won't be purchasing a Hyundai. My lifestyle doesn't affect others Ingenere. How I live my life does. If I have a nice meal with my wife at an expensive restaurant or take a weekend with friends and take a trip through the mountains to some obscure resort I've not done anything but hung out with friends and lived a good life. If I drive one of my cars to the Grocery Store daily hoping to gather attention from a mob I believe I've acted only for myself. So I don't flaunt the stuff I have. Please don't think I disapprove of car groups gathering and going on drives. I do think if you aren't on a track were you can actually appreciate some of these machines that a drive with friends is fantastic. That's what it should be. A drive with friends. The way Jason has posted. I don't believe he's about that. Sorry if you disagree but believe me I carry not one ounce of guilt for the things I've purchased and earned over the past 20 years of my life. Thanks JT. If someone hops on Fchat and tells a story about how their friend took their CS for a spin and ended up flipping it over and totaling it, I'm supposed to feel bad? Why? because the guy can't drive? For those not wanting to play nice in the sand box, I see bans in the future. Might I suggest discussing your differences via pm and not airing laundry for all to read in the open forum. You all have something that you contribute to Fchat and it is greatly appreciated, please lets move on.
I agree that many cars die because of stupid people. My angst Jason is you or others thinking its a great deal. A wrecked CS will not make your car worth more. Or mine or anyone's. Possibly a little. These cars if they ever go up in value which I highly doubt, will most likely all have some kind of an accident in their lives. Totalled? No, but I'm sure in 20 years most will have something re-done. Look at the 250GTO's. I'd bet most have had serious damage and I'd also bet that 85% of them have been painted 2 or 3 times minimum. Did this hinder their appeal or desire? No. I'm not too worried I don't see myself buying a 28 million dollar car anytime soon but ..... ...finding humor or being happy with a crashed car just makes no sense.
Rosso Dino CS at Newport was delivered 3 days ago. Saw this car in person 5 years ago with Stokpro at same locale. Beautiful in person.
