Interesting Virtual tour of a CS interior... linky http://www.electronic-eye.com/E2/Data/Car/E2-2011-C011/E2-2011-C011.swf
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say how much I admire the F360 especially the CS. Have been looking just recently, as in the last month, and yes there are slim pickings at this time. There is one I looked at that had the engine completely replaced because of faulty hydraulic lifters according to the maintenance record, and that eventually had bottom end failure. What is bottom end failure? Anyway, I just wanted to put it out there and ask if anyone has heard of the CS engines failing in this manner, and if this is a car worth pursuing. Wouldn't an engine not original to the car, devalue the car? Thanks in advance for your input.
It will sell...someone will want a nice one! I do also wonder why the one at Steve Harris has been there for a year at the same price...he was at that asking price when the market was closer to $130k...now the market has come to his price, but still it sits...
I went and looked at the Steve Harris car when I was looking. My assessment is that it is a decent car but they are not marketing it right. To start, the car needs a complete detail and some minor paint work. Looks a tad rough. I also think the car is on consignment. The owner should consider moving it to another dealer where it will get more exposure.
He should! It'll make a great car for someone who plans to keep it and not concerned about the salvaged title. Did you pop that 16M yet?
Still too much for a salvage title. Any serious offer over $80k should be jumped all over, but I would bet lunch he has more than that in it.

Awesome! CS with 55.5k miles on it for sale for $125k! http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/ferrari-challenge_stradale-cars431622428?sortcol=price&sortdir=up&listingtype=used&model=challenge_stradale&make=ferrari&distance=any Will be interesting to see what this sells for. Could debunk a lot of the "miles will kill resale value" concerns. ETA: Michael B, you beat me by 30 seconds to the posting!
Test drove the red one at Scottsdale ferrari. It is a cherry. Perfect. 16M is amazing, and if I could only have one exotic, it would be the one... But...I've decided that I want to keep a GT convertible and have a coupe...so I'm on the hunt for a scud coupe...no hurry, love the CS and have only had it for a few months...
I offered well over $80 last time it was one eBay. Seller is VERY firm at $99,950 according to my last discussion with him. At that price you might as well spend another $20k and find one with a clear title.
CS at FoNE is gone which brings us to only 13 CS's for sale compared to 31 same time last year and 37 the year prior. Record low since I started keeping track. Will we see 10 or less come 2012?
I sure it's nice. But folks are crazy about clean title/car fax I don't want to own anything that I can't sell in a week if I need too. 20% more gets you a no stories car.
sounds about right True. Though it would make a great track car that is also street legal. Or if one is planning to keep it forever then clean title/car fax may not be of concern.
