Hadnt driven mine in a while...so much fun...forgot how point and go it is! Way more fun on the back roads than my 458 or tdf. There is a such thing of being too fast.

700 hp is a little much for the 35 to 55 MPH speed limits...

I would disagree with that. Tdf > CS

Only concession I would see is a CS could be a lot of fun on tight windy roads where you don't need HP. But nothing, and I mean nothing, beats a Tdf on any road where you can open it up.

I am really considering next year adding my second f car and the CS is a contender but I’ll have to drive one to see if I can get over the front looks which I don’t like...but the more I read about it the more I’m intrigued...;)

But open straight roads are kinda pointless. Unless it’s a track lots of cars are pretty fun on a straight line.

Do you like the look of the SPF90 and 812?

Sadly it’s equally bad. The 430 is ugly too; the 458 and 488 are a success. So was the old 355 to me... of course it’s my opinion.

one word of attempted advice. If you want a driver and not a collection car, and you prefer the stripe, open your search to non-stripped cars and simply put one on if you want the stripe after you get it (yeah, I know the factory stripe is under the clear coat and after-market would not be unless one did something expensive).

I sold a 19k mile driver factory-stripped one 15 months ago...so they are out there and for reasonable dollars...but few and far between obviously.

Honestly I'm not a fan of the overall 360 look and the front end is the least attractive of the "special" V-8s. A good looking car but not stunning.
430 Scud is nicer but still not stunning.
However the Specialle looks incredible but out of my budget.

However I wouldn't buy or pass on a CS simply because of the looks.
The beauty of the car is past skin deep.

Ok guys just put in a contract to buy the yellow CS at Cats Exotics VIN#ZFFDU57A340135711

Any stories to tell on this car? I have never bought a yellow Ferrari and I particularly like the "one off" interior of this one being yellow and black alcantara. Car has recent services, new tires, new belts and I picked it up at a very good price. Anyone know the car and can give me some background? 18K miles for a 16 year old car is about right for me. I don't like garage queens I drive my cars (ALL of my cars).

What say you oh Ferrarichat scribes?

No, these 4 are all US spec cars. I just checked a quite a few US cars on the registry and they all had the 3rd button blank. Second button blank would make more sense by the way. It’s the fog light button that’s missing and that is in the 2nd position on Euro cars. Very weird (very Italian).

This was the only other US one that I could find with the 2nd button blank (I didnt check them all though, could be more)
