The asking price of this one just went up from $290k to almost $350k now Detailed Pricing MAG Assured Price $349,295
Why not. If you can afford 290k you can probably afford $350. Lots of market resetting going on these days… particularly on rareish things like a CS.
Can someone please spill the beans on ZFFDU57A440136866? Come on, this thing has traded more hands than a stripper on a fight weekend in Vegas. Up for grabs for the umpteenth time at: https://www.porschesouthshore.com/used/Ferrari/2004-Ferrari-Challenge+Stradale-9d3f76db0a0e0971769bfcf3fff870a0.htm?utm_campaign=cars.com_deeplink&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=cars.com
For a Ferrari of this vintage, I do not think it has had excessive ownership. It does have unusually high mileage. I think it may be a great way for someone to get into a CS at a "reasonable" number.
It has 50k miles. More than twice what mine has and mine isn’t considered low miles either. As long as it hasn’t been wrecked I wouldn’t be afraid of it. Get it inspected and fix things that break along the way. There are no guarantees a low mile version won’t break either. Both cost the same to fix. It’s a great color.
I believe there is a thread on here (maybe this one a few years back) that documents the 40k the owner spent cleaning her up.
If anyone knows additional information on 136866 being sold please let me know (PM would be great). I am asking dealer for additional pictures. Thanks Brian
ZFFDU57AX40136466 for sale at Ferrari Salt Lake. 3800 mile no stripe example that looks to be very clean and well priced at $269k. https://www.ferrarislc.com/inventory/used-2004-ferrari-360-challenge-stradale-rwd-coupe-zffdu57ax40136466
A true unicorn! Amongst the standard red (in terms of Corsa and Scuderia) cars, there are only about a hand-full, which received a genuine one-off interior regarding colour and material - this car is one of them and the sole example of the mentioned lot in the US. As far as I know it is offered on behalf of its original owner - so a one-owner car, who is/was on FChat as well...
Quite new here on Fchat so apologies made if this question is a bit stupid. I am in the market for a CS amd found ( a very high mileage) one with Alcantara upholstery which looks a bit non standard to me. Can any of your experts give his opinion please?
This car has been re-fitted twice already Marc, hence the interior is not original! It was standard red/black alcantara... The stripe is aftermarket so are the red calipers (black when deliverd). The upper part of the steering wheel has also been re-done.
Woww, thanks for the quick and detailed answer. You seem to know this car or its VIN? Am I correct to assume you know its original specification? As mentioned, I am new and have not figured out how to sent private messages. Would be grateful for any further information.
