I love Fchat. Someone makes a post about three very different Ferraris and 6 minutes later someone that owns all three replies. Nice!!
Sorry for missing your message, I only log on here about once a month. Congrats on your purchase! I know the previous owner (from WA) and have seen that car in person, in very close detail, many times. It was a GREAT purchase, I had been tempted many times to buy it myself at the prices they were asking. Previous owner was an older gentleman who knew what he had, how to drive it respectfully, and cared for it incredibly well. It was serviced at the same shop as my stradale by the same 2 techs. He would literally replace anything at the slightest sign of wear or indication, always with brand new OEM without regard for cost. High mileage but truly a situation where it actually was mostly 'highway miles' and that's clearly apparent when you look at the car. I saw the car most spring-summer weekends for 2 years (maybe more? Time flies). Very special color too. Very well bought.
Been perusing the market, and forgive me if this has been covered, but wow. Even the door insert..... "Gorgeous 2" VIN: ZFFDT57B000138972 1 owner, 13k miles at $299k Truly unique opportunity to acquire a 1-owner, European spec 360 Challenge Stradale that is legal in all 50 states. Having been imported from Europe the owner spent a lot of time and money having the car federalized to make this one off Challenge Stradale legal to own and drive in the U.S. As you can see from the pictures this car has been created to make an already rare and limited model even more special. This Ferrari had a full carbon fiber body conversion at a cost of over $150K by the Zanasi group, famous for creating many one off Ferrari over the years. Would be nice to see TWO Blue CS's in Newport Beach . https://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listing/2004/ferrari/360--challenge--stradale/2552216
If I'm not mistaken, this was JChoice's. It's my favorite livery. Really think I need to stick with getting a convertible being that we are in So. Cal, but I love CS's.
You seriously think they perfectly reverse engineered and autoclaved and entire CS unibody and then took all the parts from a donor CS and installed them to create a completely new carbon fiber CS for $150k? really?
