    Has any heard a noise originating from somewhere behind the driver's seat when first driving off after starting the car? The noise sounds like a tin can "crunching" or "popping" and it goes away after about 30 - 45 seconds. It doesn't happen all the time but I've reported it to the dealer and they have been unable to reproduce. I was wondering if it could be something related to the F1 pump?

    Have owned three Stradales and have never experienced anything like you're describing. The only consistent issue was the ball joint noise up front which was repaired under warranty in every case. Other than that ... no popping or crunching noises.

    Same here, has had experiences with quite a few CS and never heard of that noise before. Hopefully they can find it for ya.

    Thanks for the info.This is my second and I didn't experience anything like this on my first CS. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about.

    Just to help other Stradale owners. What was the ball joint noise like??
