    Hi

I found something strange in my CS manual book. The power is claimed (printed) at 305 KW. If I convert the number into HP (X 1.36) = 414.8 HP only.
As far as I know, CS has 420 (US Version) or 425 HP (Euro version) from some car magazines and other sources.
My CS suppose to be UK version (RHD) but the HP claimed on the manual book is lower than it suppose to be.
I called Ferrari Workshop here & asked about F360 Modena HP claim as comparison & according to there CD manual workshop they have, F360 Modena claimed at 294KW X 1.36 = 399.84 HP (correct number).

Maybe CS owners here can help me find that it is just misprint or just my manual book or something else.

    Cheers

Lots of discussion in the archives about this - the US manual says 409hp, as I believe does the EU manual. I recall one fchatter spoke to the factory and the claim was that the "425bhp" comes from "dynamic" conditions - ie the ram effect of high speed air. So you only get the full 425 at 194mph etc.

Thanks a lot for the info. At least I am aware that I am not alone on this. Just one thing, how can they measure the HP while the car really running at 194 MPH ... :)
