You got that right - I would not sell it for anything - I have been saying for years that it is a true(future) classic Ferrari - perfectly proportioned(unlike some of the newer ones) and an absolute blast to drive - had mine out on the Blue Ridge Pkw yesterday and it was awsome - perfect day, perfect car. I have a perfect 430 Spider and I would sell it before the CS

I assume it will cost you more than $50k to upgrade all those you mentioned and then it's still not a CS and will never be original CS.

The price difference between the 360 Modena and the Challenge Stradale is worth every penny.

The 360CS is the lightest V8 Ferrari Coupe in recent years (around 40 lbs lighter than the Scuderia). The door panels are one piece carbon fiber, it's Art. Lexan engine lid window, Carbon brakes, stiffer suspension and sway bars, different software tuning for the F1 transmission, more power, awesome sound, better looking (the Modena is beautiful as well).

The 360CS was built as a real sport car. There are no compromises in the 360CS, there is zero sound insulation.

I think the 360CS is an amazing car. It's much lighter than the 2008 GT3 RS and more powerful.

If you want to take a 360 Modena to 360CS specs, just the brakes, wheels and door panels will exceed $50k, and you' haven't started yet with the shocks, springs, sway bars, suspension bushings, engine or transmission changes for that matter body panels, etc. It may take over $100k to upgrade a Modena to CS specs, and you will still have a Modena worth Modena's price.

I went through a similar exercise with the F430, looking to convert a regular F430 close to Scuderia specs, then I realized that the 360CS was a better deal (even at a higher price that the F430). Eventually got the Scuderia, as the $100k price difference between the 360CS and the 430 Scuderia was justified once I found out the technical differences between these two cars, and the fact that part of the price difference comes from comparing a 2004 car to a 2009 car.

At the end, you can't go wrong with either a Modena or a Stradale.

3 hours left and still not sold. There are a lot of 360's out there and this recession is going to be a long and deep one. Supply and demand.
I see prices going down even more.

Some who don't know me may think I am doom and gloom. Far from it. My friends know me all too well. I am a currency trader and have still been doing very well with my
investing (except September/October of last year). I certainly don't wish hardship for others, however if you look at the Great Depression it eventually
gave birth to some of the wealthiest people in history. This time will not be any different in my opinion. Since my wealth is mostly in cash (hence currency trading :) )
I should be set up quite well to take advantage of oppourtunites. I hope prices of classics come down quite a bit. That is a different market though so we will see.

Nice picture. Thank you for sharing. I have decided that my first Ferrari will be a CS. Haven't driven one but have driven a 360 and loved it. I was seriously thinking about a 612 for my first. Great car, tons of power and handles quite decently but having an engine behind you is a much funer experience. It will never be a daily commuter because my commute is about 60 ft. I have a home office so no car needed for cummuting. So the Ferrari will be for fun only and the louder it is, the better it handles the happier I will be. The CS fits the bill perfectly from what I can tell.

Do you have a family? A 612 is "tons" alright. It's a beautiful car, but very large, wide, and long. It's the "SUV" of Ferraris. Not much like the Challenge Stradale.

Agree, I don't believe we have seen the near bottom yet as more F-Cars will come to the already overcrowded, used marketplace.

    It's about reality, nothing more.

looks like sellers are getting more realistic. these both have leather which for some reason seems less desireable. the guys that want to sell need to be in the 130's and 140's............for this car market

IDK, But I would bet after negotiations and a PPI, both cars would be there. BTW, what would you pay for a white CS? :)

did someone say white? why would I want a white car? ;)

i know of 2 one just sold LOW 130's just over 11k miles and 1 sold just over 140k with 8k miles. 2 cars just listed in the 140's here on fchat means they finally want to peak the interest of the guys looking for these cars. There are no buyers out there right now for anything above the 150's or 160's for the perfect NO mileage car. Just been watching them and knowing what isn't selling.

I concur and have the same experience and seen the actual sales at $127K and $133K, cars passed rigorous PPI and under 10K miles.

I really find that hard to believe. Who is selling CS's at these prices because they are not the ones I have been tracking on the usual places, ebay, autotrader, fchat etc. the last year.

All I can say is that I have never purchased or sold an F-Car through any of those sources and rarely use them for anything other than casual review. I have only met one person on any of the Ferrari forums that has ever contacted me regarding an F-Car and found very quickly that this person was not dealing in the same world as I.

    YMMV

For me leather is less desirable because in a CS I want the full race car feel, which includeds the Alcantara interior and not leather which takes away somewhat from the race car feel, if only in a visual sense.

I would agree with this statement. I see you posting all over various value threads saying that the prices are lower than the seller is willing to take. Interesting part is, you havn't filled out your profile and you aren't part of the owners forum. It looks like you just wish you had a car and the rest is BS. Maybe you hope you can get a clean car for very low price if you keep bashing prices. Either way, it is getting old.
