Is there anyone on the forum who has a CS and has removed the radio? Can you tell that it was there? Are there any holes in the leather\alcantara that are visible? I don't like the look of the radio but I don't want to exclude cars with radios from my search.

I have. The box is held to the underside of the dash by one 5mm nut and two 6mm nuts on short studs attached to the car, none of which is visible without getting your line of site below the dash. You just need to tie the loose wiring harness up and out of sight.

I assume you would also want to remove the "subwoofer" (that's an insult to all real subwoofers) located on the firewall. This does leave two visible holes in the upholstery, although I'm not sure anyone would notice.
