http://www.passion-gt.com/video/360stradale.wmv The driver does not appear to be pushing it too hard...
Or, maybe the driver wasn't an experienced track driver, or wasn't familiar with the track. I enjoyed the vid, just the same!
I think your right about this being his first stint behind the wheel of the CS, he took great care not to get himself into trouble. Wish everyone was so mature in track day.
25 Years of collecting racing memorabilia............$50,000 Stradale.....................................................$200,000 Track Pass.........................................................$80 Driving the finest, road going, limited production, Ferrari ever built like post-menopausal, subaru driving, church goer..........................$Priceless
Be nice, now... everyone should be taking their Ferraris to the track to stretch its legs... but everyone should also be driving within their own limits, where they are comfortable. The only people we should be giving a hard time are: 1) those that never stretch their Ferrari's legs 2) those that drive beyond their limits, endangering people and Ferraris Its a nice video. Where is this track?
Dijon Prenois. In France. http://www.circuit-dijon-prenois.com/ http://www.grandprix.com/gpe/cir-020.html
Brian's right about driving within one's own limits. If and when I *get* my car (it's due in tomorrow, God willing), and I get it to a track, I will probably be one of the slower ones in the "Green group", or whatever the noobie group is called. Since I've never done any track driving before, I'm sure I'd be taking it real easy, getting a feel for the car's handling, and getting to know the layout of the track as well. Hey, ya gotta start somewhere, right? Honestly, other than that driver in the vid seemingly not max revving his CS, I actually thought he was going around the track reasonably quickly. He wasn't?
hi brian, i know you're a mac person so maybe you can help me figure out why i can't view this video. i have a new mac running OS 10.3.6. and windows media player 9.0.0 (most recent version i think). windows media player starts up and then i get an error "the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect". any ideas? thanks
