I'm once again looking hard at a CS and trading my GT2. I've had the latter 2 1/2 years, and it has never been a disappointment, but my drive in a CS has me very interested. I'm concerned primarily about the hp and torque that I would give up in exchange for the exclusivity. Both dealers are 50 miles away, so that's even. The car I'm considering has a year left on its warranty, as does the GT2. I've had a 308 quattro and 512BB, so the Ferrari experience wouldn't be too new. I've communicated with a guy who has had both, and he's going back to a GT2. Ideally, I would have both. Any input would be appreciated.

It is always fun to try something new. I would go for the CS, and in the event you don't like it as much as the GT2, you should be able to sell it relatively easily without too much of a loss and then go back to a GT2 with perhaps a different color/options then the one you had before.

2 1/2 years with the Porsche-that's enough. Time for a change. Life is short -try to get as many motor experiences in as possible. After the CS there will be something else to dabble in. If you miss the GT2 you can always get another one and probably get one with more options , less mileage for less money at that time. I'd say go for it. I had a GT3 for 2 1/2 years and I'm loving the difference of the CS now.

that's the only solution . you will miss the torque over time that the GT2 gives . now if you bought a 430 then you could live without the GT2 or CS , but that suggestion could be harder to obtain

I still notice the torque difference between a CS and a TT, so a CS vs GT2 would be accentuated. Having said that, the CS gives me a better overall feel/experience. So if I could only have one, I would probably pick a CS, but it would not be a no-regrets choice.

BH, does the 355 ever leave the garage? Does the same offer apply to the GT2?

You really don't want to go there. The humiliation....(and I wouldn't even be able to hear how good the new Tubi exhaust sounds, unless I bring the Infiniti)

I had avery nice GT2, but there is no doubt that I would much rather have a CS. Taking into account price though it might be a more difficult call. Get the CS and a slightly used Z06, then you have the torque monster and the awesome CS!

I have both; I don't use either for every day drving. However, the CS gets the nod 80% of the time for spirited, fun driving, as well as for sensory experiences. The engine and exhaust noises are truly fine music, as is the paddle shifting and downshift blips. The GT-2 gets the nod when I am absolutely craving torque and want to feel like I am more on edge. Also the car of choice for the track, given its notorious nature and greater driver challenge (than the GT-3).

Get the CS; you won't be disappointed.
