Many of you guys know way more about this than I. Reasonable value please for a cs, desireable color, options and interior. Less than 1000km. Value now? Value next spring with less than 5000 kms.? Notwithstanding some of the looney toon asking prices, the value of the 360 seems to be dropping like the proverbial stone. What about the CS? Thanks much. Jamie.
I don't see the 360 prices here in Canada drop like a stone. As a matter of fact, they are strong. A 2000 360 (real clean 1 owner)is still in the 175 range which is nuts considering the US and Euro prices.(new here they were 204 in 2000) The 360CS will hold strong for many years to come because of its low production numbers. Its seems alot of owners will opt for the CS over the 430. I would assume that currently a CS will be the same price for the next 2-3 yrs(300K plus)...and drop very slowly. As less of them come to market, it will probably stablize in price in the next 10 yrs.....if you use the 355 fiorano as a reference. 7 yrs later and its still fetching close to the same money when it was new. In Canada only 1 went through and it went through FoO and still the same owner here in Ontario, I believe it has only 5k on the clock. I have been following this particular car for years. its was 202 back then, would assume a buyer would be there for the high 170s, 180s.
Less than 1000km on a CS will fetch close to MSRP. Even in your second scenario of less than 5000km, I would hazard that the window on it would still be within a toss of full retail. Red is correct in that 360 prices are not dropping rapidly in Canada. Sure they have declined but the downward pressure from the release of the F430 has not accelerated normal depreciation curves near as much as naysayers expected. A lot of people prefer the 360CS over the F430. I know I do. Produced in limited numbers, an unmolested example would fetch close if not full pop I bet.
Thanks for the info, boys! Was list 292? Was suede/alcantara an option or the standard interior. Thanks again. Jamie.
It all depends on if the make a 430CS or not......I know I will be looking for a 360CS in the next few years, if they do not make a 430CS.
