My estimate would be high 180's to low 190's. The belt service is worth ~$4500.

cs's have been selling north of 200k without sitting on the market any time, if everything you say is true on that cs, i think 210 would not be hard to get.

It also depends on if a "dealer" is selling it or an individual. I'll throw out a bet that this car would sell for north of 210k. Belt or no belt service.

Is it really worth more if a dealer is selling it? That is the question. I wouldn't pay a dealer any more than I would pay a private party unless you were getting something of tangible value from the dealer.

Cig, You know that number varies by geography, authorized dealer work, etc. $4500 is a typical amount to consider when pricing a belt service.

At face value, this car looks beautiful. With the stripe, black leather, yellow stitching and brakes, I would think this car, as is, could bring a minimum of $200k-$205k in todays market.

It is a slow market right now. I see CS's that do not appear to be moving, but then I think very little is moving.

I think you would be hard pressed to get over 200 for a CS with no service. It's just the principle... I perfectly kept car should have had its service by now. It's not a "no stories" car without a service. When there are nice cars in the high 180's to low 190's out there, you better have all your ducks in a row to justify 200k+.

Less then ONE day to be exact at full price..........W/O service. They definitely left money on the table. People who are saying that "good" cars can be obtained for less then 200k are NOT IN the market.

Agreed. I've been looking for 3 yrs and just bought a "good" car in excess of 200k. Was the right car for me, so perhaps that prompted me to pony up a bit more, but I don't see a bunch sitting around on the market that aren't either: high miles or "issues".

Most Stradale owners (we had 7 at our Cars & Coffee event last Saturday) have a buyers waiting list of serious collectors and dealers. Its a little crazy right now.

Well this would reaffirm my decision to not seriously look for a CS, as that decision was based primarily on not having enough money.

That and the miles thing... the "good CS" cars are low mileage potenial collector cars. I would want something I could drive much more often, and a CS with 15k+ miles seems to be considered high mileage. I'd put 15k miles on it in 2 years or less. And that's one reason I cannot afford one!

Not sure how one can own a CS and only drive it 1000 miles a year.

People may be saying this, Kuzi, but that doesn't make it necessarily true. I do not think the recent sale of the low mile black car at $219K can be taken as representative of the complete CS market. That car is a fine example of a rare and very desirable color/option combination without "stories." I purchased my car 3 months ago from Shelton Ferrari for under $200K with 6800 miles. That included 1 yr power train warranty, full belt service, full documentation, toolkit, cover, personal delivery to my home on a flat bed and the finest service/customer support I have ever experienced from a car dealership. It has no wrecks, no "stories", and all of the options I required. Scuderia may not be a rare or unique color, but it's my absolute first choice. To me this CS was better than "good." It was perfect. So I have to disagree with the above statement, and I cannot believe in this economic environment the CS market has drastically changed from three months ago.

Joe, we all have our different experiences when it comes to either buying or selling these cars. I can tell you....from my experience.......being in the CS market for over 3 years, that things are firm and getting "firmer" for good example CSs. I dont' believe that black CS at MCI was that unique of a case. Sure its a darn nice example, but like I said before, in this current market........good clean cars are commanding that. To me, you got a great deal for your car. For whatever reason......you did. Be thankful. I sold my Giallo CS with 4200 miles on it a month or so ago for well over 200k.......and it was a buddy of mine. He could not find a CS to his specs and liking and kept bugging me to sell him mine. So I did........and even at the "friendship" rate.........it was well over that mark ;)

Well why not look at the flip side. Since your not a collector and actually enjoy driving why not locate a so called higher mile CS and pay accordingly. A Ferrari with higher then average miles does not = a bad Ferrari and in some cases could in fact be the better car.
