    to the gurus on the CS....what is your favourite engine oil for the CS.
    I am currently using Redline 5W50 for my 348.....can i stick to the same or should i opt for the 10W60? any particular brand? (the 348 guys swear by Redline hence i followed suit)
    we live in a very very hot environment....

    ps: the car is in for a major service at the auth F-garage/dealership..belts, etc..they will obviously say use their Shell oil.....should i just go with their Shell Oil?

    The Shell Helix Ultra is a good quality oil, no reason to worry about it.

    I guess whatever they put in when it's serviced every year at the dealer.

    My dealer puts Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10W60 in mine, car drives great

    I use the Shell Helix that Ferrari specify. No problems.
    Any full synthetic from any of the big oil companys of the same grade is fine I'm sure.
    Ultra 5-40 from memory

    Mine too. I was told this is now recommended for the CS.

    thanks guys....i just went with the Ferrari's current fav oil of Shell Helix.....prob next year will go back to Redline......
