I was out driving the F430 on a beautiful day with my daughter. It was interrupted by a beep and dash lighting up 3 warnings: CST, service light and the manettino light. Other than the manettino settings not enabled the car felt normal.
After a quick stop, starting the car was difficult, akin to a weak battery. I heard a few clicks from the rear and then engaged. I immediately purchased an Optima RT battery. Disconnected the kill switch but I still have the same error on the dash. Still the same issue. Interestingly, the door windows do not pull down when entering the car, almost like there's no juice in the battery!
Has anyone experienced this issue before? Where is the F1 relay and how to test it?

I've had the same light and errors as you, however my vehicle was coming off a tow truck. The driver assisted in a jump and was able to start the car but when he left, I realized I was not able to shift into gear. While talking on the phone with my mech, the car just shut down on its own. He ran across some remedies like tapping on the F1 pump and check the relay. In the end, it was the battery but I was still having some misfiring exhaust note, which was the variation solenoid (another repair post battery replacement). Everything cleared after battery install.

F1 relay is behind the driver seat under the panel. I remember reading an article over on ferrari life, but heres a link to aldous voice: https://aldousvoice.com/2012/09/18/ferrari-360-f1-pump-relay-preventative-maintenance/

Thanks Dan. This is a mystery since it affects the electrical such as windows and starter with a new battery.

    Problem resolved!
The trickle charger failed and was causing a short. This explains why it was behaving like a low battery was causing all the problems. I also noticed an odour inside the cabin. I'm very fortunate nothing else was effected. The charger was hooked up using the connections behind the drivers seat.

If I were you I'd contact the Ctek ASAP and demand some serious explanation. Their marketing is basically advertising their products as "bullet proof". At least the quick connector looks just like in my Ctek 3.8 MXS which I keep in my 360 in a remote location from my apartment. O well...
