    Hey guys

Today I’ve had the chance to try some different setups for launching my F12.

I am, however, pretty surprised by the results. „CT Off“ implies that traction control is off while stability control still works. Means that you should be able to spin the tires going in a straight line. „ESC Off“, of course means everything is off.

When launching the car either with launch control (power start for the Americans) or without in CT Off always limited throttle until the car had enough traction to accelerate without wheelspin. The launches thus felt slow, always took ~ half a second for it to give me full throttle.

In ESC Off, of course, no problem at all to spin up the rears.

Can someone explain? Why will it not allow wheelspin going in a straight line in CT Off?

Yeah unlike what it says in the manual, CT off just gives you some play. I actually quite like this because ever since I’ve learnt that I’ve been drifting every corner I come across. Gives you just enough play to have fun while still saving you from a crash if you get over enthusiastic doing it.

That’s what I think, too! A little sideways, yes, but not without traction control in a straight line. Thanks for your answer.
