    Hey guys

    Some here may know me from Lotus Talk, I'm Dave, an Elise owner now that has begun saving up for either a 360 Spyder or a 430 Spyder.

    I almost went after a Noble M400, but realized I need to have an open car. After having owned some Fiat hardware in the past, I reverberated on my needs and came up with the 360/430 Spider as my ideal car. I'm seeking one in a MT, at the rate I'm going, and pending a sale next year of the Elise, I'm probably looking at fall of 2010 or so, depending upon what I find and how much I can save ;)

    I am local to Old Lyme CT, so I am somewhat reasonably situated to take advantage of Ferrari support in New Milford, Greenwich, or F40 in Middlefield, which is about a nice 30 minute drive tops.

    Also, I am a decent wrench, and have done forced induction setups on cars, from scratch or from kits. My most notable accomplishment was a 5 year 550 spyder replica build that had F1 style inboard suspension and a 200hp Porsche 914 motor with hand built cooling.

    So, just wanted to let you all know you're being watched. If you see a silver elise chasing you down, don't worry, it's just me taking you in ;)

    Craig who owns a Noble M400 attends the get-togethers and was very kind to invite me as well. Sunday is the day my wife makes me use my gardening muscles, I'll have to check with her first!

    My oldest son Spence is a car nut to almost rival me, he'll love to go too!

    DMA550, do you have some pictures of the 550 Spyder? That sounds really interesting. Keep working towards your Ferrari, one day it shall happen. :)

    Wow, that is some suspension work, I've honestly never seen anything like it. Got any tear-wrenching pictures of it being flatbedded, or was it not complete?

    Before Craig jumps to high...its a M500 Noble, and a beauty at that.
