    I know Ferrari thinks that nobody driving a Ferrari should be distracted from the driving enjoyment and focus by having a cup of coffee or a can of Coke in the car, but I drive my 599 pretty regularly and having a cup holder would be a nice convenience. In my 430, I use an "octopus" type cup holder that just sits on the floor on the passenger side and has a weight at the bottom so it does not tip over (in normal driving). But, in the 599, I can't reach that far. Has anyone found a simple way to have a cup holder in a 599 without permanently modifying the interior? I wondered if one could make something that would slot into the little try that is behind the emergency hand brake lever and simply be lifted out when not in use?

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    I am about a month away from my production 599 cup holder. If it can wait I will have my first parts around May 1st. It will be very factory looking like my 430 cup holder.

    Where do you get something like that done??? Pretty cool if you ask me!

    So, I would have thought on the 612, the Ferrari that broke the tradition - traction control, heated seats, bluetooth, navigation etc etc....oh yeah, 4 seats...and its a grand tourer....Why didnt Ferrari put a cup holder in that car either?

    What a PIA it was when I first got the car, took it out for a sunday morning drive, picked up some coffee - and stood in the parking lot staring at my car when I found out there was no cupholder!

    My wife laughed.....

    I did miss my 997 Turbo for a second that morning......

    hey asg612, i am working on a cupholder solution for the 612, i should have it installed in the next week or 2, ill let u know how it turns out and then point u in the right direction to get one done for yourself
