    I did an idiot move and nicked one of the rims on my Porsche. It's about a 2" rash. I don't want to go through the hassle of pulling the rim and having it refinished. I just need some light touch up. Is there anybody that does touch up on the car? I'm sure the dealers must have some solution they use. I could take the mounted rim to somebody too I just don't want to have it stripped and recoated.

    If anybody has a source I would appreciate it.

    Tom, try giving a call to Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists @ 720-980-1087. They will come to you and fix the wheel on the spot.

    As follow up, it's $90-100 to repair the rash and they are going to do it tomorrow. A pretty good deal IMO. I hate curb rash.

    Tom,

    I had them do the wheels on the 308 years ago. Did a pretty good job. Just make sure they color sand the repair (painted area), or you'll have lots of orange peel on the finish.

    Got the rim back and it looks great. Gave him $100. He's got a busy day today and will do 16 rims. Not a bad business....
