Curbed, chipped 6.0 wheel repair

Just wondering if anything special is required to repair a chip and scrape on a 6.0 magnesium wheel? Is the same process sand, fill, paint as on aluminum wheels? Is someone local typically able to do a job like this? Oh and by the way, what's the ballpark $$ to get the wheels painted titanium and is it a wash when it comes time to sell, or will the new buyer want the original color?
