This is also known as the Cee Gee Porsche, once raced by famous disc jockey in Sweden who got promoted and was forbidden to race anymore. He sold it to someone who raced it locally and then it went to once fugitive financier Hans Thulin, who went bankrupt. The burned investors couldn't find most of the $17 billion that he stashed away so they sold his cars, among them this Porsche. I am trying to find out what the bank sold this car for--I guess banks aren't nostalgic about keeping valuable cars in Sweden. That was all back in the early '90s. Today of course every one of them is a milion dollar car (only 20 to 21 made in total). There was a story in Excellence but I think it didn't tell how the car was bought, supposedly by an American who restores Ferraris. I contacted him but he's not talking. There was a beautiful fully restored one at the concours at the Art Center Concours a year or two back but I don't know if that was the same car. What's interesting about these cars, and why the run was so short, is that some obscure body builder built them (Motto) and there were variances in styling from car to car, which annoyed Porsche greatly!
