    What is the purpose of the square air box attached to the intake tube just after the air flow meter? Is it for balance or better air flow, noise reduction? Just wondering. Thanks.

    it's an absolutely useless bread box.

    I ordered the delete cap from Ricambi recently and installed myself
    a simple DIY.

    the engine bay looks a lot cleaner without it.

    probably don't notice it anymore but at the onset of installation
    the first few drives the throttle did feal a little more crisp.

    Thanks guys. I bet i have looked at that part ten times trying to figure out what it does just hanging off to the side.

    I may get that block off plate.

    Isn't there another box toward the back of the engine near the left air filter?
