so I have a 348 and based on everything I've read and seen the only way to pull codes on the car is via the push button addition on the ECU and reading the pulses on the Light Console. (via my348.com)

I've been chatting with an independent provider who says he can (and has) used a Ferrari tester to connect to the car and pull codes.

Thoughts? I didn't think that was possible on our 348s

Yes it is. 348's have coverage on the SD. I see the software on my SD2 but have never connected to a 348

Leonardo also offers the cable and software for 348.

Interesting because nearly every single post I've ever seen says the codes can only be read by the dash lights.

    Appreciate the clarity.
