I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing and if you have any ideas besides replace the battery, which was done a few months ago.

My car is 3 years old with 11,000 miles.

The car starts fine, runs fine, everything is fine. I’d say about ⅓ of the time when I return to the car after it has been parked and locked for any period of time ranging from 20 minutes to overnight, the car will not recognize the remote, its as if the remote is dead. I can open the car with the physical key. This sets the alarm off. Then I press door open on the remote, and the alarm is instantly disarmed. The car will fire right up- alerting me to a break in attempt. It runs fine, I can drive it for any amount of time, park, lock, come back, the remote opens it up fine….

Maybe the battery in the remote is going? Except I wonder why its so responsive when I’ve set the alarm off by the manual door open?

Same with my GT4, 3 years old, 6.800 km. Changed key battery.
    Since then ok.
