    thats awesome William!

I'm pretty happy that my woods run is just as fast as where I left off last fall now after 3 months...
2009, it started @ 54 minutes, and finished a 34 minutes for the same distance
    2010, it began @ 48 minutes, and is currently @ 34 minutes :)

I expect to enter in some 5k event and hopefully hit 25 minutes flat for the event... I think I can come close to that right now.

Just did an Olympic Tri this morning. Improved on my previous Olympic best by 20 minutes.

    Swim 1640 yards 28:47 (1:45/100yd)
    Bike 24.8 miles 1:0823 (21.8mph)
    Run 6.2 miles 52:18 (8:25/mile)

    Total with transitions 2:33:51

Could have gotten into the 20's if it hadn't been so hot and humid. I wasn't well adjusted to the conditions and overheated with goosebumps and shallow breathing around mile 4 of the run. Ended up in the med tent with ice packs for about fifteen minutes to cool the core down. Overall real happy with the progress though and the legs felt great after wards and ready to press on towards November.

congrats Kyle! that is a very competitive Olympic time. I haven't done any more tris this summer and don't plan on any. Already 12 weeks until Dallas Half Marathon.

Just did my first sprint triathlon ever. I have another thread on it. .5 mile swim, 14.1 mile ride and 3.1 mile run. Everything went well until my quads cramped up on my run and had stop to stretch. After I ran a slow pace to just so I can finish. Did in 1:40, would have done it in 1:35. Here are my times:

    .5 mile swim: 15 min
    T1: 4:19
    14.1 mile ride:47.00 min
    T2: 3:21
    3.1: 30.50

Just finished my first (plan on doing another) Ironman Triathlon. Ironman Florida in Panama City Beach. It was pretty cold for the time of year, just below 40 air temp before we got into the water and I froze my hands to where they didn't want to work for the first two hours on the bike. Overall it was a real fun experience and I'm already thinking about doing another to improve my time. Here are the stats.

    12:47:32

    Swim 2.4 miles 1:19:38 (1:55/100yd)
    T1 9:24
    Bike 112 miles 6:10:24 (18.14mph)
    T2 6:54
    Run 26.2 miles 5:01:14 (11:30/mile)

I went out too fast on the run when I looked at my time off the bike thinking I could get a sub 12 hour race. I was on pace until about mile 16 when my legs just said no more, run walked it a bit and then ended up walking the last 6 miles.

Here's the training for this year.

    2010 totals
    Bike: 168h 11m 42s - 3076.33 Mi
    Run: 63h 36m 18s - 448.25 Mi
    Swim: 54h 10m 34s - 154882.5 Yd

    Longest Training:
    Bike: 102 miles
    Run: 14 miles
    Swim 4200 yards

    Peak Training Week: 12 Hours

I was pretty under trained on the run and I plan to remedy this on my next attempt. Most likely won't give it another go until 2012 and focus a bit more on some Olympics and Half IM's for 2011.

wow Kyle, I missed you were going to do an Ironman. That is the ultimate. I don't think my body could take it even with the training. A 12 hour Ironman your first time is just awesome. lifetime memory for sure.

I achieved my main goal in the past five years dropping from 240lbs to a low of about 185lbs.

I am currently sitting around 195lbs. My goal is to remain under 200lbs for the future, unless I begin building muscle.

For excersize I have distance goals which to date I have ticked off 5km, 10km, 15km and believe that for next season +20km is possible. However I am aiming to complete a mini triathalon if I can find the appropriate one.

I want to be able to do 5 handstand pushups on dumbells in a row, currently I'm up to 3.

    500lbs squat x 5 reps

    Sub 530 mile

Power clean and jerk 275lbs 1rm, currently I'm waiting for my back to get fixed via a human clinical trial with rHgdf-5 (a growth factor mean to repair my dry intervertebral disk)

Resting heart rate under 45 bpm

Blood pressure same as a 10 year old roughly 100/60

I'm close to a few of these, but others require a tad more work to get there :)

ive been using it for about 2 months, friends of ours have been using it for a while. It really helps curb hungur for sugar foods ... i lost an initial 10 lbs over the course of 8 weeks, and i have stablized .... i bought the 750mg per pill one ... i didnt want a higher dosage, and i take with morning breakfast, oatmeal / cereal (only once a day , one pill) ...I have stopped eating pasta, rice, beef for yrs now .... this helped me get to the next level... i do drink my 8 glasses of water a day and it helped.

No goals or anything, but started working out with my friend and his co-worker a few weeks ago.

They workout way different than I do, they're more after strength than the overall package.

Anyways....deadlift 205lbs yesterday 4x's. Could have gone more, but didn't want to risk anything since I went from 135lbs straight to 205lbs. I think I could max out around 225.

    I weigh 155 FWIW. I impressed myself.

Gotta lose a lot weight this year. 50 lbs. loss is my goal, I'm getting older & don't want any health issues.

24 fitness weight training 4 times a week
    Ride the MTB/Road/Cruiser more
Walk the neighborhood 3 to 5 miles
Quit eating crap food, (that's going to be hard.)

    Let's see how I do.

    Good luck! :)

One thing with the crap food. Limit yourself to it, once a week. Say Friday or Saturday to reward yourself for making it through the week. If you eat it everyday now, maybe reduce it to twice per week at first. And also cut down on the amount you eat and limit salt intake.

Finished the 2010 deadlifting 225 3x's! Taking off this week and it feels nice to have the break.
