I assume there are plenty to be found on finecars.cc, hemmings motor news, and especially the Ferrari Market Letter.

The cheapest 275's are the Short Nose(s). Recently, excellent restored ones have been selling at around $800k. You could probably find a "driver" for about $650k. I assume that one needing love would be around $500k.

If you want a Long Nose 2-Cam, then it'll be more like: $1,000,000 for an excellent restored, $850k for a driver and $650k for one needing work.

The alloy-bodied ones are pretty much priced along side the 4-Cam.

These are just my estimates. Something tells me that they are far from done depreciating, and if I were in the market for one, I wouldn't buy one just yet. Keep in mind that a few months ago, a restored short-nose was selling for $1.3 Mil.

For those who aren't familiar with the market crash in the 90's, a restored 2-cam was $800k at the climax of that market (early 1990). By 1991, they were $450k. In 1992, $300k. If you hung in there until 1996, you could've bought one for $135k. Who knows where the market will bottom out?

If they get anywhere near 200k, I'm definitely a buyer.

If they went down to their 1975 level, $9k, then I'd buy one!

Funny that a restored short-nose is going for the same price today ($800k) as a concours 375MM Spyder went for in 1994. What are they now, $5Mil in concours condition?
