It's been a long month, first I had to have my seat replaced after a mishap at the delivering dealer,(only took 15days to get the car back) it was home a week then some SOB shot out the passenger window with a pellet gun! So I get in to take it to the dealer (new window, has been shipped) now the battery is dead!

Question Where the heck IS the battery?

battery is behind the aluminum panel in the passenger floor. It's fairly easy to get to. There for both weight distribution and to keep it away from the heat of the engine.

Sorry for your bad luck! Did your car come with the OEM battery tender? I use mine 100% of the time in the colder months here in Indiana. It has worked perfectly keeping the battery fully charged.

I'm sorry to hear of your mishaps, especially the idiot who shot at your car. As RacerDJ said, the car should have come with a factory tender. If you're not sure, look inside the car-cover bag for another, smaller, nylong bag. This is where I found mine when I took delivery.

The car-end plugs in under the dashboard, right in front of where the passenger's right knee would point. You'll need to get down low to spot the socket and to get the connector lined up. It only goes in one way.

The other end, of course, plugs into an electrical socket.

If your car has enough power, you should lower the passenger window at least an inch to make sure you don't pinch the tender's chord when you close the door and the window automatically goes up that last little bit.

    Again... good luck going forward.

The bb gun thing almost happened to me also. I decided to take a SUV that I own for the night instead and all of the sudden I got hit 10 times by the shooters. This crap happened on International Dr. in Orlando.

Good luck with your F430 from now on.
