Custom 612 Seen In Dubai

looks great on the F430 in the back, but just looks plain weird on a front-engined car like the 612.

you know what, if i lived in dubai and everyone on the block had a white S600 Merc and I had a Scag, hell I might have had it done. It's Dubai, you can get away with that ecentricity there. It is not my "style" but it is pretty intresting. Its not awful, just not at all great.

I like the concept. Bonnet should by body color matching tho, and the glass/grill should be inverted; the rounded parts should be at the bottom and the straight angles on the top of the bonnet, following its curves.

 

That is your middle eastern starter ghetto package. Add LARGE chrome wheels and the same see thru on the trunk for the neon lighted woofer speaker things and then you would have the full middle eastern ghetto package.

 

Lol! Does anyone remember when they would put glass hoods on the cars at the auto shows? That is the first thing I thought of.

As crappy as this half ass job is, I truly think that Ferrari will bring back front engined small glass bonnets to give you a sneak peak of the engine. They always look to the past in their designs and its just a matter of time before it happens, but done more tastefully of course.

 

Hmmm perhaps it would look o.k. if those air grills weren't there and the plexi was kind of smokes in grey, so at night it wouldn't be visible but in the sun it would look like this when attention paid...

At least his parking is ... precise.. look at the space (or rather the space that isn't there) under the front overhang...

 

Not my taste...but the idea is not that bad, there is only something wrong with the geometry.

I like the concept, but not the execution! Ferrari should consider adopting a more elegant solution for their future front engined cars, IMO.

I dunno... perhaps a large spoiler 3 feet in the air, some "dubs" wheels, video screens on just about every surface, and a shag-pile interior would sharpen up the look. Right now, it just looks tacky.
