    In all seriousness I would think a bodyshop owner could buy it..fix it for $15k and make a decent profit on resale.

    aluminum frame and body, a bit more work than steel. I had an A8 that was a nightmare to have repaired due to the aluminum frame/body. need specialized eq and training. that and parts can't be cheap!

    My wife was rear ended in the A8 with similar damage, total cost was 30k.

    This is a good reminder to make sure you have more than the minimum insurance coverage. Are most states $25k? Very easy to do these days, as this picture shows.
