Hi everyone Has anyone had any experience with having any buttons custom coloured? I was thinking the launch control button would look good in Rosso I have seen a couple with the outer bezel colour coded but not the button itself. Any thoughts or ideas? If the buttons are hard plastic, we can refinish different colors and laser etch the graphics, however, it could get very expensive doing 1-off colors, 1-button at a time. My guess is nobody would want to pay for it
Thanks Dave I will see if I can source a spare button from somewhere and if I can will then see the practicality of getting it done......! Regards Michael

Hi I would be up for a group buy if we could get a Rosso LC button - not The surround that's easy to do but the button itself.. Regards Michael
Hi I have seen 2 with the tricolore surrounds one on carbon one on standard aluminium - they do add something to the Interior. My inner child though wants a red LC button with a smiling devil face on it as the logo!! Yep childish but fun and unique ! Regards Michael
Car, our focus is really restoration and not customization. That said, like I told Michael, we can do many things but specials just become very expensive and perhaps not practical.
Hi Dave I'd be happy to join a group buy for a red LC button with standard font etc if enough were interested and it was viable I'm not wealthy enough to go 1/1 custom on a single button!!! Although it would be rather Kool..... Regards Michael
Hi Michael, Don't mean to rain on the parade but I think coordination would be challenging. We would probably need 10 people to want to do this and all 10 would need to send their buttons in at the same time.
what if we pay you to buy the new buttons and we keep original as spare? Id be in for that(either way)and what is stupid expensive? can you get us a price so we can see if we can get 10 people to commit..
I'd need to check to be certain (458), but with other models such as 430 / 599, etc, the buttons are not sold separate - it's sold as an entire sub-assembly with trim and it's expensive. Before I provide any pricing, I'd need to do some testing here.
I want to be complete upfront and honest. As I said prior we are focused on restoration. Custom projects go on the long list as we are typically at capacity (working on increasing that now). At this time, I have no idea when I will have a chance to play around but is on my list
