I just finished little project for my friend. He is buying F12 Berlinetta and he wanted custom design inspired by 250 GT Ellena interior. He required very simple & clean treatment, so adjustments consists of new stitching on seats, doors and in trunk space. Upper leather part on doors, and part of center tunnel will be replaced with black leather. Carpets on sides will be replaced with black ones too. Unfortunately I cant show you more renders where all adjustments are visible. Lather trimming and stitching will be executed by his local leather shop.

This looks pretty cool, but I don't see how it is inspired from Ellena. The seat pleats are about the only form from that, and that was similar on lots of older stuff.

You are right, but my friend sent me particular photo of Ellena`s interior as reference for design that will be incorporated in his F12. Take a look: http://s8.postimg.org/ugny8jamd/40ba2bf63550041199ab7db3c4de7bec.jpg

I like it would be even better if he had Ferrari do it thru the taylor made program. then it would add value sort of a one off. Is the black on the dash a mouse hair like leather or just a dull finish.
    looks great..

Thank you Larry. I forgot to mention he is in search for used F12 . He sent me reference photo as his idea, so I took some time and incorporated his ideas in F12 interior :D Black parts are plain leather. I assume some of Fchatters could find this kind of interior a bit boring, but this trim brings out very nice style that was present in vintage Ferrari`s.

P.S. Customization like this by Ferrari Tailor-Made probably costs a fortune.

Looks great! And you're right. If done by Ferrari it would cost a ton.

Thank you guys for very nice words :)

Little update: My friend bought F12 last weekend and we are in communication with his local leather shop regarding preparation for interior adjustments. I will ask him for permission so I can post few photos where you will be able to see finished interior.

Your friend could better ask Ferrari to do a custom interior through their individual program.

Local leather shops rarely do any justice to the great work Ferrari does.

    But maybe I'm biased.

That was my initial reaction when he told me about his plans on doing F12 interior in some local shop. When I got some photos from my friend showing their work I changed my mind, so I cant wait to see how they will execute adjustments that I proposed on my renders.

So why not "stay true" to the Ellena sample and go with brown carpeting instead of black?

I prefer the smoother contrast with brown, anytime.

Tastes are different from person to person :) My obligation was to visualize inputs from my friend.
