Obviously Schedoni rules, but I just ordered a set of custom luggage that looks pretty usable insofar as maximizing space is concerned. See: https://classictravellingluggage.com/product/f355/ Thoughts? I ordered mine in Tan, but this is basically how they look: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think I understand why they did it, but the large case with the “ears” is goofy looking. Otherwise much more practical than the Schedoni.
Yup, that part does look awkward. And like you said, my purposes are literally to maximize space for road trips.
I don't think it looks awkward at all. My flight gear bags and racing gear duffel bags have similar side pouches to pack smaller items. In this case, that bag makes optimal use of available space.
https://bag-world.co/ do custom work and I like the style a bit better. Not too expensive either. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have had sets made by Surman for other marques, they have all turned out very well and the quality is very good. Typically I have 10+ sets manufactured at a time. I could facilitate a F355 set if there is interest? Very familiar with the design/prototyping/production process and volume importing.
