Hi, hope this is in the right place on the forum...

I'm looking for a competent machine shop (preferably in So Cal) that can make prototype aluminum rotor hats. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Well sorry to say but it is not the right place. Go down to the bottom of the home page and look under the heading of sponsors.

There you will find Girodisc. I do not recommend them because they are sponsors but because I have done a great deal of business with them and Martin is a great guy and resource.

They recently moved from Costa Mesa to the Seattle area though but the big brown truck goes there every day and they are worth the small amount of trouble that entails.

    Thanks for the reply...

Yes I've been in touch with Girodisc and Martin has given some assistance but unfortunately I don't believe he's much interested in handling small prototype work at this time.

...btw, where should this thread be posted?
