    I performed a search but only came away with body shops in the bay area. I'm looking for a good custom paint shop near Sacramento. No body or collision work, just good professional full repaint. Thanks.

    Post in the Northern California section....there are a few good shops in the area..

    Hey Ron-

    Collector car garage. They are our painters, they did a ton of work on the chevelles and I think the SSR. Mark is the owner and a great guy, I worked with him over last summer and he taught me how to put the motor in the chevelle that blew up. Give him a call and tell him Jack and JB sent you.

    If not him, then another shop we have dealt with before but I completely forgot the name, they are over by the storage yard but did great work on the truck. Ask my dad, he knows.

    His site says he only paints older (70's and prior) cars. Is this a misnomer? What did he paint on the SSR?

    Yea he'll paint anything. I asked my dad and he said another guy painted the SSR, Mark was too busy with another guy's mustang and my dad wanted it done quick. What did you want to paint on the S2K?

    Mark is a great guy and an outstanding painter, he always has a few cars in there he stores for clients, go check it out.
