I’ve ordered tubi headers and exhaust. I’m getting a good bit of maintenance done on the car. I’m currently looking for the best tune to put on my 430 Scuderia. Has anyone ran these cars on e85?

To run e85 on the car you will need more that just the tune.

E85 creates less energy than gasoline when it is burnt, you need about 30% more E85 (volume wise) in order to create the same amount of energy of gasoline. What this means is that engine will require bigger injectors as the duty cycle will need to be increased significantly to accommodate the additional fuel flow. This also assumes that the factory ECU is open enough to allow for such changes on injector duty cycle.

At the same time you will need a fuel content sensor so that the ECU can read the ratio's and adjust the map accordingly and not blow up the engine.
On an NA engine the gains of switching to E85 are not as significant as forced induction engines. E85 is the go to fuel on force induction due its high detonation resistance and low cost, when compared to race fuel.

Trev and Sam for the tune. No reason to try E85.

following. I've done exhaust, headers, cats, and sport filters (k&N) on my scud. Feels great and there are no hiccups or concerns about the set up, but I can't help but to wonder whether a tune could provide the cherry on top that ties it all together. Only concern is shelling out the dough and not really detecting a difference. probably worth a try though. report back what you decide! Have heard great things about both Trev and Mase.

I did Mase on mine. 2007 Fabspeed headers, hi flo cats, carbon Scuderia filter housing and hi flo filters and got rid of the CEL. They were quick turn around easy to deal with and programmed the valves in the exhaust when I give it more gas instead of waiting for 3500 rpm or having them disconnected. Well worth the dough and yep I could definitely feel the difference in all aspects.

Mase tuned my gated 360 spider. Fabspeed headers, capristo test pipes, tubi exhaust, challenge intake setup, and milled heads plus valve job. Know you’re looking for info / perspective for your scud, but man did he wake my 360 up and tie these mods together.

Thank you so much everyone for your input. I will start looking into your recommendations. I am not thinking about going ahead and doing new keys and immoblizer at the the same time since they correspond with the ECU. I don’t want to have the thought of being stranded one bit and will try my best to avoid it anyway I can.

You have no choice. Sam and Trev are the best. Depending on where you are located use J Scuderia for the work.
