Ok, this is really lame, but I can not figure it out. If I am working on a spreadsheet or a .doc and I copy either a portion or the entire contents and create a new .xls or .doc and paste the contents in there, a little icon that looks like a cell phone paste, instead of the intended information. If I delete the cell icon and re-paste, it will show up again. If I leave it there, and go back to the original .xls or .doc, and re-copy it, then paste it will paste just fine. I can then delete the icon, and not have any issues. How the heck do I get rid of that damn icon pasting first for NO apparent reason???? Pic is of the damn phone that shows up. Help! Does it? Being the cell? No. It starts off like a normal .jpeg image where you can resize it and stuff. 285--I'll try that!
try to copy right click paste special value or if there is a number in the cell put number 1 in a open cell copy cell with 1 right click on cell with phone paste special divide ok
Dude, i don't know how to get rid of the cell phone-like icon, but take the original document, Save As, and save it as something different and there you go... Open that document and just erase everything that you DON'T want...
