When I bought my 1989 328 GTB it only came with one original set of keys. I was able to find both a blank ignition folding key as well a a blank SAFE/Torino key. As these keys are rather pricey, I need to be certain that they are cut properly. Has anyone had these keys cut before? Any suggestions on where to go to have this done so I am certain it is done right? Thank you.

Ace Hardware cut mine. You can also contact a local locksmith.
Don’t try Lowe’s or Home Depot because their equipment only recognizes newer keys.
Our keys need do be cut the old fashioned way and not with a computer.
All places will not be responsible if the keys does not fit or breaks during the cutting because they don’t have a replacement key.
One of my keys cracked when cutting at Ace. The local keysmith had better equipment and can order blanks though not the OEM for your car.
