I thought there was a photoshop question thread but I couldn't find it.

I have a couple pictures that I need to take someone out. I can get the person out of the picture but I cant figure out what to put in the blank space.

So on the first picture I'm thinking it would be ok if I just squished the picture to take out the middle section but I dont know how to do that.

The second Im at a loss I'm not even sure it can be done without looking weird.

If you have any suggestions for me that would be great.

In all seriousness, try the "Stamp" tool. ( I think thats what its called ) It duplicates one part of the image and pastes it over wherever you like.

That right there is funny!! I got suspended for a day at work for doing Photoshop work like that. I guess putting the bosses heads on nude, midget, stripper wrestler bodies made it a wee little bit different though! Guys still laugh about it 8 years later though.......

Google seam carving and check out rsizr.com. Should help with the first one at least.

For the second one, do you have any other pics of the guy behind the girl? If so, you are probably best off cropping that section out, then puttting in a background or extending the one that is already there, then pasting the guy in, then feathering the edges in photoshop. If you don't have a full-length picture, you will have to put some furniture in front of the guy...use photoshop layers and play with the edge thresholds for a nice blend. If you are not good with Photoshop, pay someone to do it...you should be able to find someone via craigslist.

Edit...had another idea. You could photoshop him holding something that goes up in front of her face, obstructing it from view. Unless you want no trace of her in the pic, this would be much easier...a bouquet of flowers, guitar, something like that. Again, photoshop layers and blending expertise.
