In no way would I ever give in to any of their demands....in fact it gives more resolve to resolve the situation in every means possible. Whether it is here, where we are or anywhere else they will only know our resolve

That seems like a random post without detail or explanation but I am assuming you’re speaking of the email from Ferrari we got today that they were a victim and got our customer information and tried to hold it random?

My guess is that something happened Sunday, as late evening (UK time) my mobile started to get random WhatsApp’s and phone calls from around the globe including Middle East and Iran. Monday morning and my mobile is receiving calls from marketing companies in the UK. All very strange behaviour. Blocking the callers as they come in. Best for everyone to be extra cautious at this time.

I wonder how much of a real threat this is due to the clientele profile? Also, the email did not call out if account info such as UserID and passwords were compromised.

I received the email from Ferrari yesterday as well.

The data breach could potentially be pretty bad. Whoever has it, knows what cars are stored where. Professional car thieves would love to get their hands on that type of info, especially the rare Ferraris...

Mine says that they didn’t get car information of owners or billing information so… hopefully that’s true.

I received the email as well, unfortunately you never know the severity of the breach until something happens. With modern technology/resources data breaches seem to be more common, from places of employment to cars owned.

I would caution everyone that had their data exposed to be cautious opening any email that appears to be from Ferrari. The quickest use of this leaked data could be targeted phishing attempts. The risk around our physical addresses is something of more concern. That I don’t know how to mitigate.
