Wednesday's stage is going to be so interesting! I love the idea, much better than a mountain ITT. They're doing a F1 grid type start. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Might be interesting by getting rid of the help of some of the team domestiques behind but a bit half arsed imo. How about letting them start at the same intervals they’re at and voiding the time differences completely? Doesn’t feel right giving the guys in front another free distance advantage.
Still one mountain stage to go and the time trail obviously. The inconsequent 20 sec. time penalty given to Dumoulin might be costing him the TdF. Froome seems to be out of contention for yellow.
20sec were undeserved especially as he just had a puncture and hasn’t got a full support team like Sky. The standings reflect how many incidents they’ve had as much as who’s the strongest
I was expecting more separation today. I guess although 2+ hours, so steep, and very little draft benefit it was still short enough where most were bunched +/- minutes.
It'll be a few years before we see great riders emerge again. This year was ok to watch, but I started wondering why I watched it.
There seemed to be an uncommon number of incidents and accidents. I'd like to see a Tour where all of the GC contenders are still around in Paris.
F1 sucked big time. Now hope for Italy or Sagan. Just don’t want a Brit to win this too after the 3 big tours.
I missed the finish yesterday, but although I respect the World Championships 6-8 hour race and the riders and fans give it so much attention, I have a hard time completely respecting races that are just a sprint finish. I know only the strongest of the day were left, but then it still comes down to the best sprinters. I guess even most of the Classics are like this too. I have just always given more respect to the break aways, mountain tops, and even time trails.
Last proper day of the Tour today. Hope something happens as if the improvised gaps from yesterday are maintained it would be the biggest let down.
I do not understand how 2 days of heat wave gets followed by a stage cancelled due to snow. Roller coaster weather that really screwed things up. Sent from my Nexus 6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app

I don't think that it was snow. It was heavy hail that just looked like snow, and can happen any time during the summer.
You are correct but from the initial helicopter shots it looked like snow. Hail & a mud/water slide. WTF???
Congrats to Egan Bernal for winning the Tour at age 22! (He could be a contender for years to come!) He was also the Best Young Rider and could have won the King of the Mountains as well! I saw his younger brother by the victory podium; I wonder if junior is a cyclist as well, since that could mean double trouble in a few years. And it was a grand day for Colombia in general as Nairo Quintana and Rigoberto Uran also finished in the top 10!
Would have supported Dumoulin this year but his knee put him out. Yet, next year he’s on a Bianchi...
