"Da Early Risers" Informal Run - Sunday, June 6

Yeah, as I left my house at 7:00am to make the run, the drizzle just started in NNJ. For a second, just a second, I thought about putting the car back in the garage. Glad I came anyway. Nice breakfast, nice drive.

And I got to experience the SIMPLY AMAZING Lupe Home audio enclave. This thing is so amazing. It simply vibrates the very cabinet that houses it. Incredible. I doubt many have anything close to this type of set-up.

I can't believe I got up at 6:00am to sign on to FChat! I've got a bad case of Ferrari Fever.

Sorry I don't have any pics of the impromptu WD-40 engine detailing.

Hey, this was a tpk run and no one got pulled over let alone any tickets!

Thanks Vik for organizing event and most importantly waking me up this morning.

It was real tough waking up, and I hung over driving to Viks place.
Like Vik said, the rain wasnt too bad, just annoying.

Lupe thanks for being a great host, love your "vintage" sound system
and your overly hyper puppy who got so excited seeing Vik, it pooped!

Clyde, I am real impressed by your car, it can really keep up with everyone, and it looks amazing.

Emil, great idea about renting a catering truck for an hour. I am in.
Sorry again for last night, just got a new cell from T-Mobile, same one,
not much of a selection at the shop (23rd/5th).

Noah, we definitely have to talk about getting Lupe transform the 355 into a
full trooper car. I was thinking on the way back, in addition to the lights/siren, we should get him a "rifle rack" for the rear window area!
Shouldnt cost too much. =)

And for the rest of the guys that flaked out, see you at the next run,
hopefully the run wont start as early! hint... hint... Vik.

And to rigging Lupe's new patrol car...I think we should petition the Perth Amboy dept to buy a Maserati like the Italians did. Lupe has the crudentials from the 355 as driver. How hard a sell can it be?

btw Lupe, that was me gently rapping on your door at 7:55am. I didn't see anyone around & didn't know if the run was cancelled & didn't want to rouse the whole house for a cancelled event.

LOL... its all in his technique, Emil and I noticed that it takes extreme skill,
Clyde looks at the road in front of him while pointing and shooting pictures
to his side without even looking through the viewfinder!

 

wow, even more skill, no hands on the steering wheel, steering the car telepathetically and taking shots to his side. all in the rain. amazing.

 

sounds like u studs had a great run. sorry that i flaked out but my weekend basically started on thursday and didnt want to fall asleep on the wheel today. hope to see the crew this coming week

I didn't wake up until sometime in the afternoon. The rain didn't help either.
