Love MY DD...I use 2 pretty regularly depending on crazy RI Weather 1st 2006 Nissan Maxima (Elite Edition = Rare)
The one on the right is my daily, 525 5-speed, 3.73 LSD, factory telephone, winter package, electric lumbar, rear seat head rests, back up sensors, Clifford alarm, Bilstein/Eibach suspension.. Mixed driving 27 mpg./ Freeway driving 30 mpg. Rock solid and dependable. The one one the left is a 530i that I sold a while back and has been replaced by a white 530 Touring (E34). Top level appointments, super comfortable for long trips. After market sound with sub-woofer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've got one of those... my fiancée drives it as her daily car. Indeed it does! And speaking of those current MINI owners, moretti124guy, there's another one right here! My daily drive is a March 2004 MINI ONE (a de-tuned MINI Cooper, for those of you in the US). Only 90bhp, but I've enhanced it with some chassis enhancements, improved brakes, and suspension upgrades. It certainly lacks power so it's hard work through the gears to get it moving swiftly, but that makes it rewarding to drive. And with all my handling modifications, it's pretty sharp and stable to point in the right direction. All the best, Andrew.
Just picked it up Monday. Supposedly its the first one (4matic) to be delivered in America (That what my dealer told me)
The Touring. It now has tinted windows and Rondell 58's. Next step is lowering. The best thing about the car is that it only weighs 250 lbs heavier than the sedan and handles just as good. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
E30 and E34 BMWs are just way cool... Specially the M-versions. The E34 M5 is the granddaddy of the power sedans and a king among sleepers if you take the badge of (and turbocharge it )...
I had a 91 e34 M5...it was so much better built than my subsequent e36 M3, e39M5 and e60 M5...and the sound of it's I-6 was like fine music...its the only M car I regret selling...
I could drive newer but like you said, the E34 was so much better in build quality. If they were building them new with the same quality I would buy one in a heart beat, especially the M5, Better yet, they made a factory M5 Touring in Europe. I would be all over that!.
Anyone drive a late 60's or early 70's mercedes? Looking to sell my late model S-class and go classic. I figure maintenance can't be far off between the two...
I'm curious... have you ever driven a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and, if so, how did it compare to the Dodge Challenger? All the best, Andrew.
I've driven both, while neither is a sports car the Camaro is much more responsive and fun the in curves. They both could use some tuning tweaks though. Rumor has it the Camaro has a "track pack" coming for '11.
