    I want to get Photoshop and learn how to use it. I messed around with it one day at a friends house and my freakin god is it confusing. Theres so much crap on there its rediculous. I didn't know what I was messing with. I would like to take the time to play around with it and understand what everything does but I think it will take forever. Plus the price of it. Isn't it like a grand for the software? I can't see myself dropping that much on software to play around with. I'll see if I can find it bootlegged. LOL

    Thanks - unfortunately the background isn't as appealing as I would like it to, though. I'm Sure Arizona boasts some nicer photography-opportunities than dull Scandinavia. I won't hide my jealousy :)

    Jason, based on the info in another thread (see below link) I went with GIMP, plus it's free and does pretty much what PS will do. Check out Webby's post with the download links (Thanks Webby!) If you're going the pro route then taking a class or two on PS won't hurt at all.

    Finally got to use my 70-300mm this weekend, stupidly I left the ISO at 800.

    I wonder how many people didn't pay too much attention thinking that it was just another custom 300C. Notice this one has rear suicide doors as well.
