    djui5 thanks for the compliment.

and Samimi... do you mean the framing for the baseball pictures or the fireworks? If you mean for the baseball pictures, I just bought tickets anywhere in the stadium then walked around. I found a section that was practically empty and walked down to the first row and started shooting. I think the key is, to put the camera onto a continuous mode, if you have one, and to just start snapping pictures well before the batter hits the ball. Its really just catching the right time. I unfortunately don't have the right lens for sporting games, so I make due with what I have. The game was also very cloudy and lighting was awful. So it wasn't an easy time but I think they came out pretty well.

The fireworks were done the same way. I was right under them and my camera ended up being covered in sulfur. Other than that its just setting up the camera and shooting away.

    Oh and another tip...

You have to compensate for the twisting action they do and you have to move the camera a little bit more forward, due to them usually stepping into the ball and swinging. Also the follow through is important and seeing how they swing the bat around.

Not quite. Crafted by a well known American racer's wife, an artist in her own right.

OK, the autographs say a 50th birthday for someone and LRP is prevalent. Lime Rock Park. Sam Posey was the architect of the rebuilt tower and other new additions to Lime Rock. Sam Posey's wife? If so what does the Dog/Pig face signify?

Very good. Sam's wife Ellen Greisedieck created this bit of whimsy (for a charity auction I believe). Among other work she's done a number of Newman"s Own labels.

Certainly not meant to be Massa. Before his time maybe. ALMS is at LRP this weekend. I will tell you a good Sam Posey story Friday.

Looking forward. A.Q. had a good Posey bio a couple of issues back.

It is. We were over there for a week for vacation. The weather was strange at the top of the mountain. The clouds covered the side overlooking Eibsee but the glacier side was crystal clear.

What kind of rig were you using? That's a neat shot. How did you remotely take the picture? What kind of lens and settings?

    regards
