    a little bit of editing and you can make the simplest things amazing took this at a flower show today took me about an hour and a half to edit the shot dint take me to long to take but trying to find a good angle took like 10 minutes loli call it Red Hot Chili Peppers lol

    Today I was at work and these blasts started shaking the office. They were like M80s going off outside the window - you could feel the reverberation through the office walls and air. The first one I thought might have been a transformer explosion. They kept going off every few minutes, some in succession and I started to get nervous...

    We finally saw outside the window that the local SWAT team (or some military unit) was doing urban combat exercises in a block of abandoned homes kitty-corner from my office, in the middle of a Saturday afternoon.

    Mind you, this is like 200 yards from where the courthouse shooting occured a month ago. Way to make everyone freak out. (BTW, there have been signs for several years that they were going to build something on that property, but with the collapse of the local economy its unlikely for a long time - to the right of this picture is a 1 square block, several hundred unit condo development named "JUHL" that has only sold 32 units, and has at most 8 tenants).

    The second shot is pretty good, I think you shot with a high ISO number? (If so, try to lower it the next time).

    I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure I had set ISO 100 and auto flash.

    While meeting my new grandson (#2), we stayed at the W Hotel in Hoboken.
    Great location across from Manhattan. A nightshot, and then the day view from our room.
    Really cool hotel, with several popular bars, and a good "Tuscan" restaurant.

    Wish the little guy was closer to Dallas. Son in law is with Nissan, and hoping for Home Office in Nashville soon.
