Made a brief trip to the Wild Animal Park (now called San Diego Zoo Safari Park) yesterday. Here's my favorite frame. Shot wide open and processed in an attempt to hide the wire mesh fence he's behind. I was attempting to focus on his eye, but my manual focus technique could use some more practice (AF just focused on the fencing itself), and the lens - Canon 70-300DO - isn't terribly sharp at full length. Either way, I like it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I need to go out shooting more and get more creative so I decided to start a 365 Project. Figured I'd post day 1. Happy New Year! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have done that the past 3 years *LOL* Good luck in remembering all the days I just realized I accidentally deleted all pics between december 12th and 21st.

Got up early, picked up my brother, went to the beach, and snorkeled for a couple hours. I miss having the boat. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice!!! I haven't been snorkeling since I was in 5th grade in the Florida Keys (currently 24 years old...). I want to do it again so bad!
Where in Florida do you live now? I'm 25 myself.... and this was a first in probably 2 years or so.. (last was in the keys as well)
Right now I'm in Gainesville but my house is in Sarasota. I went to Sea Camp with my elementary school and spent a few days in the Keys. We snorkeled, went night wading in pitch black darkness, swam with sharks, and walked like 300 yards in the water to some little island. Also dissected a squid and learned a ton about the environment. It was pretty awesome.
That does sound pretty cool. I saw two black tip sharks today.. they were tiny and in about 4 ft of water.... Kind of cool. Are you going to school up there? for?
I was but I'm done now. Just waiting for my apartment lease to end in July, then moving back to Sarasota for a year or so, then down to S. Florida. That's the plan. Can't wait to do some salt water fishing again
Here's some more of the bridge. I kinda like the shadows cast by the driveway. And a video of me going across both bridges [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPVBGzecdHY[/ame] part 1 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYjJZEvun-k[/ame] part 2 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice photos here. I finally took the plunge into the DSLR market with a Canon T1i. They're being sold at quite a discount since the T2i came out. Well, much to learn, but even a quick snap shows how much this camera can make a novice can look good. Image Unavailable, Please Login
