    Okay, I can agree here I suppose. The "looking at it closely" part is the important one if you shoot loads of pictures!

    Nikon or Canon in that range will be very similar, and once you get into one brand, you'll want to stick with it for lens/flash compatibility and just overall familiarity in how the controls work.

    I bought an XSi just as the T1i's were coming out off of craigslist, along with a few other lenses and a flash over time. Now that the T2i is out, the XSi is even cheaper. But if you watch fatwallet or other deal forums, you can come across a T2i deal with filters and a few lenses for about 750 shipped. But if that is over your experiments in photography budget, you should go used. The T1i and T2i have video capabilities.

    everytime someone embeds pictures in the posts i can't see them. is there anything i could do about that?

    "Embedded" in a sense of them appearing between text, or do you see no attached pictures at all? I had the former problem because I was surfing at http://ferrarichat.com instead of http://[B]www.[/B]ferrarichat.com - tricky!
