Taking just a bit of time to wander through Ferrari random phoyos. Creates and presents such a very special place. It is one that is there for us all to enjoy and appreciate. Following through always gives such pleasure. Pierre
Thanks, and yes, that's what I strive for. This photo was taken with a Canon PowerShot SD780 IS and is not retouched at all, just resized (800x600 max) to minimize distortion during uploading (tip I learned here on FerrariChat).
Threw two quick pans together. Both of the village where I live, or some of it. Here are the low-res versions.. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i140/Cozmic_Kid/Fun/Fuglse-village-1.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i140/Cozmic_Kid/Fun/Fuglse-village-2.jpg
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SESn5Qf3dXI[/ame] My first attempt at time-lapse. Next time I'll do better; but it was definitely fun! Be sure to watch it in 1080P Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolutely LOVE that. Never had the patience to do it myself, or the right place to do it. Tried one February night, but my fingers nearly froze off so I chickened out and went home How much time did it take to shoot this 12 second video?
Thanks a million. We have had some nice sunsets the past few months. Tomorrow the weather will really turn autumn like they say. And the summer is effectively gone.

"Vello Wireless ShutterBoss Timer Remote-Canon 3-Pin Connection" Electronics; $99.50 through Amazon.com Keep your fingers warm The toughest thing is figuring out the functions right, remembering to turn the resolution to lowest + fine, remembering the tripod, and getting the focus right. I want to go back there, and get maybe 6+ hours or maybe even all night. This was 30s exposures with 1 second intervals between. So basically 2 photos per minute for 3.5 hours. Pinnacle studio makes it easy to set it for video
You should know. There is a bunch of Nikon guys at work. 5 or so who are into photography. I am the only one with Canon gear. They have started this little club at work, where I am apparently NOT welcome. They say I am 1 or 2 level above them when it comes to photography, which is IMHO is total BS. They take excellent pics themselves. We all have the same conditions. Birds, scenery, farm machines and that odd architecture every now and then. I think they do a great job. Of course I would LOVE to be able to shoot cars like you do, but it's not going to happen. I don't know anyone with such cars, and there is noone around where I live anyway, just like there is no spectacular scenery (rocks, cliffs, mountains etc.) or no awesome buildings. It's atleast a 100 mile drive to buildings, and 500 mile drive to something that resemble mountains. Anyway, eventhough we are on the same terms I am not welcome in their little club
http://www.sigma-global.com/en/lenses/cas/product/sports/s_120_300_28.html Sweet, Sigma updated the tele zoom I want. Wonder how this will affect street prices of the current version.
One more from the town I live in. This time the skyline *LOL* http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i140/Cozmic_Kid/Fun/Fuglse-village-3.jpg
This is exactly what it looks like in Ohio where I live, except I live off to the right in the river valley on a hill with the cliffs you speak of Great pics
